Haricots have been produced for many years. Originally by chocolatier Demaret, we suspect, in the late 1960s. The name RiRi may still ring a bell.

The Oeyen company took over the product. After the takeover of Oeyen confectionery by Euro-Sweets, the Haricots moved to Berchem.

In 2010, the Haricots were brought under the Candyville brand. The recipe has remained virtually unchanged all this time.

The stop of Euro-Sweets and the sale of the machines caused a stopover. But after that short absence, Candyville again released the one and only, original and Belgian Haricots.
